Conditions Treated With Slow Cortical Potential Neurofeedback

Slow cortical potential neurofeedback (SCP-NF) improves the direction of slow cortical potentials.

Types of neurofeedback include:
-	Frequency/power neurofeedback
-	Slow cortical potential neurofeedback (SSCP-NF)
-	Low-energy neurofeedback system (LENS)
-	Hemoencephalographic (HEG)
-	Live Z-score neurofeedback
-	Low resolution electromagnetic tomography (LORE-TA)
-	Functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI)

Types of Neurofeedback

It’s a type of electric potential that comes from the neurons of the cerebral cortex.

Neurofeedback: A comprehensive review on system design, methodology and clinical applications

This is the most common type of neurofeedback used. This uses 2 to 4 surface electrodes and changes the speed of brain waves in certain locations.

Frequency/Power Neurofeedback

Low-energy neurofeedback system (LENS) uses a weak electromagnetic signal while the patient is still with their eyes shut.

Low-energy Neurofeedback System (LENS)

Hemoencephalographic (HEG) neurofeedback gives information on blood flow in cerebrum.

Hemoencephalographic (HEG) Neurofeedback

Live Z-score neurofeedback inputs comparison of electrical activity in the brain to a systematic database.

Live Z-score Neurofeedback

Low-resolution electromagnetic tomography (LORE-TA) uses 19 electrodes to observe phase, power, and coherence.

Low-resolution Electromagnetic Tomography (LORE-TA)

Functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) uses activity from deep subcortical regions of the brain. This is the newest type of neurofeedback treatment.
