Steps of Writing Literature Abstract

To write an effective abstract, you must have a deep understanding of your source material. This means thoroughly reading and analyzing your literature review or research article to identify its key points.

Writing Literature Abstract - Step 2: Read Your Source Material Thoroughly

After drafting your abstract, it's important to revise and refine it to ensure clarity, coherence, and conciseness.

Writing Literature Abstract - Step 4: Revise and Refine

Finalize the abstract by incorporating feedback, making final adjustments for clarity, coherence, and conciseness, and confirming compliance with the target journal's or conference's guidelines before submission.

Writing Literature Abstract - Step 5: Finalize Your Abstract

Before drafting a literature abstract, identify its purpose: to provide a clear, concise summary of the research purpose, methodology, results, and conclusions.
